The upcoming JIBA Business Expo 2024 (JBEX) in Dar es Salaam is set to attract around 4000 businesspersons from both local and international spheres, to foster economic empowerment and growth.
Chairman for JIBA-Dar es Salaam, Mr Al-Junaid Hasham, addressed journalists on Monday, emphasizing the expo's focus on enriching the country's economic landscape through entrepreneurship, skills development, and global promotion.
"Our main focus is to have a vibrant business community focusing on entrepreneurship, skills building, and trying to promote our country to the rest of the world," Mr Hasham stated.
He added, "The JIBA Business Expo 2024 is set to be a dynamic convergence of businesses from diverse sectors, both local and global."
Scheduled to commence on the 31st of this month, the exhibition aims to serve as a vital platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and business collaboration. It is expected to contribute to the growth and innovation of Tanzania's economic landscape.
"The Expo is a networking hub where local and global experts converge, connect with industry leaders, gain insights, and expand their business network for success," Mr Hasham emphasized.
JBEX 2024 Team Leader, Mr Mustafa Jacksi, highlighted the international scope of the expo, uniting enterprises from over 15 countries to explore innovation across diverse industries such as construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and tourism.
Involving more than 20 different industries, including construction, medical, real estate, transport, logistics, mining, and agriculture, the exhibition will provide a platform for exhibitors to expand their networks and unveil new products.
"Apart from local business people, we have exhibitors coming from different parts of the world, including China, India, Japan, Dubai, and Italy," said Mr Jacksi.
Furthermore, exhibitors will have the opportunity to learn how to expand their businesses through insights from renowned international business coach Dr. Mahmood Mawjee.
