Tanzania Continues to Excel in Attracting Investors, Says Deputy Minister

Tanzania is soaring in its ability to attract and secure numerous investors in the East African region and Africa in general, thanks to its favorable investment climate, according to Deputy Minister of State, Office of the President, Planning and Investment, Hon. Stanslaus Nyongo.

Hon. Nyongo made these remarks while inaugurating the Non-Communicable Diseases Department at the state-of-the-art Shifaa Pan African Hospitals Limited Referral Hospital in Dar es Salaam.

He highlighted that the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) has been instrumental in welcoming, promoting, and attracting investments across all sectors, including the crucial health sector. He further encouraged both foreign investors and Tanzanians to invest in their homeland.

Mr. John Mnali, Director of the Investment Promotion Department at TIC, reiterated their commitment to providing excellent services to all investors, especially those with strategic projects.

CEO of Shifaa Pan African Hospitals Limited, Mr. Bashir Haroon, explained that the hospital project was initiated to reduce the high costs incurred by sending many patients abroad for treatment.

The strategic project of Shifaa Pan African Hospitals Limited was registered by TIC in 2015 and has cost 60 million USD headed for completion.
