Tanzania Investment Centre Facilitates Partnership Opportunities for Investment Projects

In a bid to foster economic growth and development, the Tanzania Investment Centre (TIC) is actively encouraging and facilitating investment partnerships within the United Republic of Tanzania. Established under the Act of Parliament No. 26 of 1997 and subsequently replaced by the Tanzania Investment Act No. 10 of 2022 Cap 38, TIC serves as a key governmental agency mandated to coordinate, encourage, promote, and facilitate investments in the country.

One of TIC's primary functions is to foster partnerships between Tanzanian investors and potential collaborators, aiming to enhance project implementation through the infusion of new technology, capital injection, operational expertise, and employment creation. In line with this mission, TIC is extending an open invitation to the general public to submit investment projects actively seeking partnerships.

Interested parties are required to submit comprehensive project details, including the company name, project name, project location (specifying village/street/road, ward, district), sector, project area size, project description encompassing an overview and infrastructure details (land size, support facilities, connection to social services such as roads, water, electricity, etc.), project cost estimates, current project implementation status (operational/construction stage), project value (confirmed funds, funds needed for project financing, owner's contribution), and contact information (name, title, email, landline, and mobile phone).

To streamline the submission process, TIC has provided a designated format for project submissions, accessible on the official TIC website at www.tic.go.tz.

All submitted projects will be compiled into a comprehensive project inventory, available in both digital and physical formats. This inventory will be shared with potential investors globally during TIC's outgoing investment missions, ensuring maximum exposure and opportunity for collaboration.

For those eager to participate, relevant project information should be submitted to the Executive Director at Tanzania Investment Centre, P.O. Box 938, Golden Jubilee Tower, 1st Floor, Ohio Street. Alternatively, submissions can be made via email at info@tic.go.tz, fax at +255 25 25-2504399, or by telephone at +255 737 879087 and +255 734 989 470.

This initiative by TIC reflects the government's commitment to fostering economic growth, innovation, and collaboration, paving the way for mutually beneficial partnerships in the dynamic landscape of Tanzanian investments.
